The best pairing when enjoying one of our specially prepared Margaritas. An opportunity to try different flavors, representative of simple and more elaborate "platillos" of the region of Puebla.

These dishes are not only tipicos (typical) from Mexico, they are "Tipicos de Chihuahua y Sonora". If you want to imagine yourself eating in these regions, try these particular specialties. We also offer main dishes based on Carnes (meats), Pollos (chicken), Pescados (fish) and Mariscos (shellfish), some following traditional ways, and other ones created by us.

Our customers say that the blend of flavors in our soups is "just right". We're convinced that our fine soups provide sustenance for the soul as well as nourishment for the body.

As with "los Portales", "la Plaza Mayor" (main square) was a center of social life. Causal socializing with friends at the main square often led to sharing a full dinner, "una cena de verdad." These were -and are- the dishes that these dinners celebrated.

These enchiladas are called "de los Portales" because they were originally served to passers by in "portales" or porticos. The portales consisted of casual walkways surrounding the Plaza Mayor or man square of any given town in colonial Mexico. The portales provided a unique social venue. Conversation, artistic expression and eating were characteristics of the portales lifestyle.

People used to go to walk around the Plaza, social life, arts and life happened there, and the food they found were these Enchiladas.

Grilled with chicken, cheese, beef or pork. Cheese is served au gratin style (on top of the enchilada) unless otherwise requested.

Choose from rice and beans or salad to accompany these traditional enchiladas entrees.
